What Mira is — and what it is not

Mira is a venue where people post classified listings and find each other. We are not a party to any transaction, we are not a seller, buyer, broker, agent or guarantor, and we never take possession of goods or handle payments between users.

Every deal — the goods, the price, the meeting, the payment, the delivery — happens directly between buyer and seller, at their own discretion and their own risk.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service.
• You sign in with your phone number and are responsible for everything done under your account.
• Keep your access to your phone number secure. Notify us if you believe your account is compromised.
• One person — one account, unless we explicitly allow otherwise.

Your content and listings

You own what you post, and you are fully and solely responsible for it: the accuracy of descriptions and prices, your right to sell the item, the legality of the item itself, and the photos you upload.

By posting, you grant Mira a non-exclusive licence to host, display, adapt (for example, resize photos) and distribute your content within the service, for as long as the listing exists.

Listings must comply with the posting rules (/rules). Prohibited items include, without limitation: weapons, drugs, stolen goods, counterfeit items, official documents, and anything illegal under applicable law.

Moderation

We may review, reject, hide or remove any listing or message, and restrict, suspend or terminate any account, at any time and at our sole discretion — including when we believe content or behaviour violates these terms, the posting rules, the law, or endangers other users. We are not obliged to pre-screen content, and moderation does not make us responsible for it.

No warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. We do not verify users' identities, do not inspect the goods, and do not guarantee the truthfulness of any listing, message, price estimate or AI-generated suggestion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mira, its owners, and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of the service — including, without limitation: losses from any transaction between users, fraud by other users, unavailability of the service, loss of data, or actions taken by moderation.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the preceding twelve months — which, for a free service, is zero.

Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate Mira for losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) caused by your violation of these terms, your content, or your misuse of the service.

Safety

Meet in public places, inspect goods before paying, and never send prepayments to people you do not know. The safety guide (/safety) has practical advice. It is guidance, not a guarantee.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page with its effective date. Material changes will be announced in the service. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time in settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Syrian Arab Republic. If any clause is found invalid, the remaining clauses stay in force.
